Membership

Membership of Brigantes is open to all Liverymen of the City of London, and to Members of the Worshipful Company of Parish Clerks and the Company of Watermen and Lightermen, wherever they may live worldwide 

Membership is available at two levels – Subscribing Member and Non-subscribing Supporter. The Lord Mayor of London and the two Sheriffs are ex-officio Members of the Brigantes during their period in office.

Members are required to be in good standing with their Company. All Members receive regular communications from Brigantes and the Brigantes Newsletter with reports on past events and notice of future events. 

Subscribing Members pay an annual subscription not exceeding £50 (currently £40) which is used to meet the Association’s administration costs and operating overheads. 

Subscribing Members receive invitations to forthcoming events ahead of invitations to Supporters, which is particularly helpful for events that are quickly filled, as many are. Subscribing Members also receive a reduced ticket price compared with Supporters. 

Supporters receive invitations to events around two to three weeks after Subscribing Members.
