Brigantes Golf Day
By rotation, the annual Brigantes Golf Day for ladies and gentlemen takes place at three northern Championship courses. They are:
Ganton, near Scarborough, which has hosted the Ryder Cup, Walker Cup, Curtis Cup and many other Championships including The Amateur, the English Amateur Strokeplay (Brabazon) and the Home Internationals
Lindrick, near Worksop, former host to the Ryder Cup, Curtis Cup and a qualifying course for The Open. The Club is proud to have three local golfing greats as Members – Lee Westwood, former World No1, Danny Willett, 2016 US Masters Champion, and Matthew Fitzpatrick, 2022 US Open Champion
Royal Liverpool, Hoylake, one of the world’s oldest and most highly regarded courses - host to the 2023 Open Championship, 12 previous Open Championships, the Walker Cup and the Curtis Cup.
Format for all Golf Days
Play is in mixed teams of four, followed by dinner and prizegiving. While the golfers are hard at work, non-golfers attending enjoy a day’s arranged visit.
For those staying overnight before the golf, the annual Brigantes Golf Dinner takes places in the Clubhouse and is open to all Liverymen and their guests, whether golfers or not.
The 2024 Brigantes Golf Day will be at Ganton Golf Club on Wednesday 24 April.

An enormous thank you for such a wonderful day The food was delicious and the organisation of the event was superb. I look forward to attending more Brigantes gatherings in the future.
As in the past the arrangements were first class, and this year’s venue was absolutely amazing!
Just a short note to thank you and your team for yet another superb event last week. As always, the venue and all the arrangements were first class
