Event Programme for 2024
23/24 April – Brigantes Golf Spring Meeting, Ganton Golf Club, North Yorkshire
Dinner on 23rd open to all Brigantes Members, followed by Golf over the Championship Links and Dinner on 24th. Visit to Scampston Hall for non-golfers.
20 June – Brigantes Breakfast, St Georges Hall, Liverpool
Morning Talk in the Concert Room, celebrating 175 years of the Cunard shipping line. Reception on the Terrace. Lunch in the Great Hall with Principal Guests including City of London Sheriff Alderman Bronek Masojada and retired Old Bailey Judge and best-selling author Her Honour Wendy Joseph KC, the Master Pewterer.
Our entertainment will draw upon Liverpool’s rich theatrical musical heritage and, in addition, Past Lord Mayor Alderman Dr Sir Andrew Parmley will be playing St George’s Hall’s magnificent organ built in 1855 which, with its 7,737 pipes, is still one of the largest in the UK.
13 December – Brigantes Winter Gathering, Cutlers Hall Sheffield and Sheffield Cathedral
AGM, Reception and early evening Supper in Cutlers Hall, home of the Company of Cutlers in Hallamshire, followed by the Christmas Concert in the adjacent Sheffield Cathedral.
