Full House for Winter Gathering in Carlisle

The annual Brigantes Winter Gathering is again proving a popular occasion, with all places for Carlisle on Friday 15th December now sold. 

Our 2023 Winter Gathering takes us to the City of Carlisle where we shall enjoy an evening of Festive Music in Carlisle’s magnificent Cathedral Nave, preceded by our Annual General Meeting, Reception and Early Evening Supper. 

The AGM will commence at 4.00, followed by the Reception at 4.45, Supper at 5.30 in the 14thC Fratry Hall and the Concert at 7.30 in the Nave. Dress is lounge suits. Badges of Office may be worn. 

At 1.00, for those able to arrive earlier in the day, writer and art consultant Chris Wadsworth will give a talk on the connections between three of the great northern artists of the second half of the 20th century– L S Lowry RA, Sheila Fell RA and Percy Kelly.
