Past Master Spectacle Maker Michael Barton, a Royal Liverpool member, has once again negotiated a favourable rate for Brigantes Members, (taking into consideration the increased costs that all golf clubs have) of £150.00 per head.

This includes a superb day’s golf followed by an early three course supper and prize-giving. If you would like to invite a guest to the supper and prize-giving, the additional cost is just £40.00.

Royal Liverpool, as befits an Open Championship course, is a challenging test of golf. In accordance with the Club’s rules, visitors are required to possess a club handicap index of 21 or less for gentlemen and 32 or less for ladies.

Tee times have been booked from 10.00am for a maximum of forty players, with the golfing format decided nearer the date. The Secretary and staff at Hoylake are most hospitable and look forward to welcoming us.

If you would like to stay overnight on the Tuesday or Wednesday, or on both nights, which several Liverymen will be, hotel accommodation at £119 per room based on upto 2 guests sharing for B&B has been negotiated at the Thornton Hall Hotel & Spa, Neston Road, Thornton Hough, Wirral CH63 1JF. www thorntonhallhotel.com or TEL 0151 336 3938.

The last date for room cancellation is 17 March. If you do book, please inform us where shown on your booking form. Please book all rooms direct with the hotel and not through Brigantes.

A booking form with payment options for the golf day is available from Fiona Robinson, the Brigantes Administrator, at livery@brigantes.org.uk.

As we did last year at Ganton, we are arranging a Fine Dining dinner at the Club on the Tuesday evening. If you would be interested in attending, either individually or accompanied, please contact Fiona Robinson (see above) who will send you the details.
